You might be thinking oh no, not another seek and find game, but before you dismiss it, read on.

The game is based on a ship, The SS Carnak where a murder has taken place. You must visit each room in turn and find objects to uncover clues. When you've cleared each room, it becomes checked off on the ship's map screen, just so you don't forget where you've been. Handy!

Finding objects is a fairly standard 'point and click' affair, while sometimes it can get a little more complex and you're asked to combine two or more objects together. Thankfully it has a useful tips pop-up, so the more complicated bits are spelled out for you.

There are also several subgames such as ***embling the parts of a picture to obtain further clues, and you can also question suspects on the ship in order to glean information.

There's also a 'hint' feature, for those moments when you get stuck trying to find, for example, an obscurely named a box to adorn, which later turned out to be a jewelry box. Why not just call it a jewelry box in the first place instead of being confusing?

That slight blip aside, this is a really nice game. If seek and find games aren't your normal mug of Earl Grey, give it a try and it might just surprise you. If you can't get enough of them, then you definitely shouldn't miss this one, as hefty as the download is - its worth the wait.

Its not very often that a game comes along which you can't quite shoehorn into any existing pigeonhole. Peggle is one such game, and the best you can liken it to is pinball, but without the flippers.

The game screen consists of a series of pegs (hence the title). Some are orange, some are blue. At the top of the screen, is you. You have to fire balls, one by one, to clear the orange pegs off each of the screen, whilst the blue pegs do nothing but get in the way. This all sounds incredibly boring - once the ball has been fired you have no control over what happens, and yet, there's is something incredibly compelling about it all.

In addition, there are green bonus pegs which offer a variety of power-ups to help get you through the game. These include bonus balls, multiball and enhanced aiming.

At the bottom of the screen, a crater-shaped 'catcher' moves left and right. If the ball lands in the catcher, you are awarded an extra ball. Your only enemy in Peggle, is gravity.

Peggle is a joy to play. The physics are spot on and you'll find yourself agonising over the optimum angle at which you should hit an orange peg in order to try to hit another one on the rebound. Add to this delicate touches such as the screen zooming into the final orange peg and going into slow motion, and you have a game which is very simple to play but will keep you hooked for weeks.
