About

What is TunaSnax?

TunaSnax is the indie home of Tuna Technologies, a long-time independent game developer. This is where we talk about our projects, pimp the games that we like, and discuss the indie games scene along with anything else that takes our fancy.

We also have a corporate site here if you would like to know more about our professional background. If you don't want to bother looking, it just says that we've worked on an awful lot of games, some of which you might even have heard of.

The Team

We have a friendly, loving, and sometimes furry rabble of 7 citizens based in Sheffield, as well as various regulars who work with us from their luxurious palace residences in locations as far afield as Holland, Switzerland, New Zealand, and even Leeds.

Nick is a little busy polishing TunaSnax at the moment, but he'll be uploading a profile of each team member shortly.

There may be photos. You have been warned.

Games on TunaSnax

As well as pointing out all the cool stuff we like, we've also picked some games which we think you should try. They're quite an eclectic mix, comprising of everything from all out arcade shoot-em-ups to what industry types like to call "casual games". We don't actually care what type of game it is, only whether there is something interesting about it, such as addictive gameplay, beautiful artwork, or some other innovation.

Having said that, we would like to have more content from independent developers and you can search specifically for their games on TunaSnax by using the indie filter on the main Games page (on the right end of the grey pagination bar)

Suggest a game

If you know of a game which you would like to see on here, please tell us more about it. Please be aware that most titles require the developer to be able to provide us with the game through an affiliate or reseller program, so games you may find on places like Steam sadly aren't available to us.

If you suggest a game then please don't be offended if we say no. There are a lot of games out there and we made the decision to only include what we would recommend to our friends. That means we've already chosen not to include hundreds of games. We promise we'll try and be nice about it if we do have to say no.

Developers

Some of our most interesting projects are those where we've partnered with other designers and developers, such as The Behemoth. If you would like to talk to us about getting your ideas made into real console games then we'd love to hear from you.
