This game is soooo,much better than the original.I think having to defeat the different monsters/people is hilarious.I actually found this one easier than the first to play although i expect it get's harder as time goes on and i did only have 60 minutes...

This is how basic English lessons should have been at school. Child friendly, and yet incredibly fun for, well, 37 year olds like me :)

It's hard to believe that you're basically spelling out words from a selection of letters! The steady, driving pace, the stylish animation, simple humour, weird and wonderful characters and even weirder enemies (straight from mythology with a colourful twist) and the accomplished, polished presentation & effects... all add up to a pretty compelling journey through a game that we should all have had on our desks from elemtary school & beyond. Love it.

Compared to the original Bookworm, as well as the story/journey aspect of the game, BWA offers up a simpler mechanic in that words may be spelled with any of the letters in the grid; they need not be adjacent. Think 'anagrams' rather than 'Boggle' (if you know what I mean). It's easier to keep moving. And you just don't want to stop.

The only disappointment was when the free trial ended, pah!
